ABOUT US
We are Rogue Factor, a medium-sized video game developer based in Montreal, Canada. Our team is currently working on a brand-new action-adventure IP, Hell is Us, created in Unreal Engine 5 and set to release worldwide, in September 2025, for consoles and PC.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a full-time Communications Manager who will be responsible for the strategic planning and hands-on execution of all internal and external communications, as well as actively participating in the marketing efforts of Hell is Us, driven by our external publisher.
We are seeking a versatile, proactive, and meticulous individual, with a passion for game marketing, online communities, and fast-paced creative environments, who will accompany us in the critical period leading up to, and following, the release of our high-profile upcoming title.
CONTRACT TERMS
• Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension.
• Start date: As soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in the planning, execution and follow-up of PR, media and community engagement campaigns for our new video game IP, in close partnership with studio executives, brand owners, and external partners from our parent company, NACON.
• Drive the creation of both public-facing and internal assets (written and multimedia) and formats, to achieve strategic objectives defined by key stakeholders and brand owners.
• Manage the studio’s presence, content creation and moderation on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Monitor, collate, analyze, and report on the community feedback through a variety of channels, such as digital storefronts, email and social media, then propose feasible and viable optimizations to improve communication where applicable.
• Perform a variety of mandates related to the creation and maintenance of all internal studio communications (documentation, announcements, job listings, HR-related materials, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, or equivalent training and/or relevant experience in a field related to video games, press relations, public relations, or journalism.
• Native or perfect fluency in spoken and written French and English, with a heavy emphasis on exceptionally strong communication and writing skills in both languages.
• Keen interest in the videogames industry, current market trends, as well as good knowledge of the modern social networking ecosystem, formats and contents.
BONUS POINTS
• Experience in conducting video game marketing campaigns, press relations, and/or community management operations for a successful AA or AAA title.
• Experience with website content management using WordPress.
• Experience with graphic design and photo editing tools, such as Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Experience with video editing tools, such as Resolve or Premiere Pro.
